Staff Applications

Are you interested in helping us edit submissions, create issues, or start new initiatives? You may apply for up to 2 of the positions below! Staff applications are open until 12/30.  

 

We are seeking:

 

1 Executive Poetry Editor: The executive poetry editor will be responsible for assigning poetry submissions, reading over feedback, and making editorial decisions and recommendations. The executive poetry editor should be able to maintain consistent communication with other editors and the editor-in-chief. This position requires about 5 hours of work weekly.

1 Executive Prose Editor: The executive poetry editor will be responsible for assigning prose submissions, reading over feedback, and making editorial decisions and recommendations. The executive prose editor should be able to maintain consistent communication with other editors and the editor-in-chief. This position requires about 5 hours of work weekly.

2 General Editors: General editors will make editorial recommendations and provide feedback on writing submissions. They will also have the opportunity to write blog posts, assist in outreach, and start their own initiatives. General editors should have experience with prose and be passionate about literature. This position requires 3 hours of work weekly, though the prose editor may choose to take on additional submissions.

They will also have the opportunity to write blog posts, assist in outreach, and start their own initiatives. Poetry editors should have experience with prose and be passionate about literature. This position requires 3 hours of work weekly, though the poetry editor may choose to take on additional submissions.

1 Prose Editor: Prose editors will curate prose for each issue and provide feedback on prose submissions. They will also have the opportunity to write blog posts, assist in outreach, and start their own initiatives. Prose editors should have experience with prose and be passionate about literature. This position requires 3 hours of work weekly, though the prose editor may choose to take on additional submissions.

1 Graphic Designer: The graphic designer will create content for Instagram and Twitter on a regular basis and assist with design projects. The graphic designer should have experience with platforms such as photoshop and Canva. This position requires 3 hours of work weekly.
