It started with a conversation in texts, an offhand comment. It always starts with a spark, an ember that someone decides to fan. After much planning, and attempting, website making and remaking, deciding all the logistical aspects of the magazine. We created The Dawn Review. We decided that The Dawn Review would be a place that writers would be able to submit their work, for publication and for feedback. We wanted to be a platform of a variety of ages, stages, cultures, and styles, to showcase the diversity of the writing community and of the lived experience.
